Krishibhushan

On the occasion of completion of 100 years for the Commissionerate of Agriculture, this award is started in the year 1984 in the name of late Chief Minister, Vasantrao Naik. Total 10 awards are given every year. For the outstanding work in Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development, fisheries development, Horticulture, Rural Development, Bio gas, farmers' development in Agriculture and allied sector, this award is given to 10 farmers/ organisations.
